With growing concerns of climate change and environmental degradation, sustainability has become a strategic priority for automotive organizations. Governments, consumers and investors are now pushing automotive organizations to change their ways of working to suit Global work culture. This will have far reaching implications for the industry that while making substantial progress, still requires to step up its sustainability efforts. Natural resources have become scarce and thus sustainable value chains are becoming more important for the automotive industry. At Nifco India, our priority revolves around the adoption of highest standards of health, safety, and environmental protection, enabling long-term sustainability.
Nifco India Private Limited was established in June 2010 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Nifco Inc., Japan for manufacturing of automotive plastic parts for automotive OEM's and Tier 1. Nifco India is IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certified company. Nifco intends to continue with strategic & controlled growth in Y2024 and onwards. Nifco India new plant in Gujarat too has become operational in May 2022. It is a great milestone in the journey of Nifco India. A lot need to be done to ensure smooth operations start up with contributions from all key members in this project and I am confident of achieving good outcomes.
Nifco India Manesar has achieved good sales in Year 2024 in comparison to its budgeted sales. It is due to the hard work and perseverance of all NIN staff and associates. I would like to thank all NIN members from the bottom of my heart for their contributions. We are confident that our pragmatic approach to all challenges will reap good dividends going forward in future.
For the year 2025, we are confident that Nifco India Manesar Plant and Gujarat Plant will do much better than our projections. We need the support and proactive approach in all Nifco India members to surpass targets in Year 2025.
Nifco India has now ushered in its second leg of the journey starting Y2025. The next 5 years are very crucial as Nifco India has to prepare itself to meet the increased demand of all OEM’s. Nifco India has set high sales target to be achieved by Y2030. Nifco India has coined this journey from 2025 to 2030 as the NIN 2.0, a new version of Nifco India.
